Hi, my name is Karen Brown, counselor for the 7th grade and the 8th grade Discoverers team. I am also the 504 and volunteer coordinator. I have been an educator for many years, both as a teacher and a counselor. Middle school is a very unique and important time in a student's life and I feel fortunate to be a part of the Rogers-Herr Middle School family. I received my Bachelor's degree from North Carolina Central University and my Master's from Adelphi University in New York. In my spare time I enjoy reading, shopping, and traveling.
